If you're after a line/copy edit, I will take a 1000 word sample from anywhere in your manuscript and show you how I do that type of edit and how I give feedback and explain the changes I make.
For a developmental edit, I will read through the first two chapters and provide feedback on the beginning: the hook, first impressions of characters and setting, and whether these match your intentions. I can also line/copyedit the first 1000 words if you're looking to book in both services.
